good news im allowed to just have a heckin chicken as a backyard pet bad news the humane society doesn't have any right now but they seem to be pretty common...

@root well hey, look on the upside - you still get to enjoy a little bit more time of your backyard not being full of chicken poop!(My family kept chickens for a couple years)

@root I’ll be honest - I do not remember. I know we got a few, but I don’t recall the decisions that went into that; it’s possible that we got a few just because that’s the number of chickens that were being given away by whichever friend we got them from.
