@pea repeatedly my answer has been "lack of ability easy collaboration with others". More time with elisp might let me solve that though.

@johnstorey depends on how you're using it I imagine. there was one talk I watched where this guy would use org mode for taking notes then send the necessary excerpts in a nice html/plaintext email to his team members when he needed to share and that seemed pretty nifty

@kurisu basically my big goal is to create an elisp package that lets you easily create your own modal editingI know modalka or whatever it's called ready exists, but it's just a little off

@pea that sounds like what I need. It is probably a feature I am unaware of. Ialready file jira tasks from emacs for team members, which is very efficient to do in a meeting while taking notes. I have yet to solve posting a subtree of meeting notes to confluence for reference by the distributed team though.

@pea Thanks for telling me about this! I found the correct command in Spacemacs today, and it made beautiful ASCII text to paste into email and send to my team.

@johnstorey nice! I recall the one from the talk i watched being dual content type, with html and plaintext options actually, but i'm glad you found a solution that works for you!

@johnstorey (as in the email would be sent with html and plaintext, for clarity, and your client would determine the one you saw)
