       isp changed the dynamic ip and now i am left with an offline server until the dns finish updating...maybe i should cash out for a vps instead of hosting stuff over wifi

       @kai have tried that now, but it leads to problems as dns as a protocol wont accept a cname without adding www in front. because of that, cert renewal fails on the non-www link and breaks federation

       @kai it doesn't support wildcards either as valid name, so no @ or * to get to root on cname

       @kai because that is the only one that accepts a domain name instead of an ip4 address. i am hosting from a dynamic ip and today the setup shat itself because my isp decided to update my ip to a new one. because of that, my certs and external connections to the server failed. my isp wont let me rent a static one, so here i am, testing the possibilities

       @Sviundt no-ip is designed to handle this exactly. I've never had a static IP but everything works .
