Unpopular OpinionI. Miss. My. Woman. Card. You know, doors being opened for me...Men not expecting me to add a full time outside job to my full-time motherhood/homemaker job.A man pulling out your chair for you at a restaurant. We were actually cherished for our womanhood before feminist screwed it all up. We never had to act or dress like men to be their intellectual equals. The man haters became like the type of man they hate and insisted the rest of us follow suit.

@Kathlena I only ever experienced that behavior from older men, and married one a generation older, my father's age. I've never seen it in my generation. I always had a full time job, side business, raised them every day as babies, did it all simultaneously without family and NO-- my generation men and women were not impressed, just critical I generated less income than them.

@AmaI know right? I ran my own business, and worked part time jobs while raising three children because a family can't make it otherwise. I worked harder and got far less credit for it. When my husband finally started making enough to support us I was able to devote my time to the family full time. I instantly became the reject who "doesn't have a career".

@Kathlena @Ama Life has different stages.. I worked full time, went to school. stayed home while the kids were young. Worked when needed. My husband worked. As they got older I went back to work. I like when he opened doors. paid for meals, etc. IDK why it's a big deal for a man to be a man and for a woman to like it.

@Lemonhead @Kathlena It represents the loss of civility as a respected value. I just don't interact with those who have issue regarding manners. I appreciate being treated with dignity. It's not a privilege to earn but what a good human IS.

@Kathlena My unpopular opinion is that most women are not emotionally suited for leadership in any capacity. And I say that as a former leader (retired USAF NCO) and as someone who has a female pastor.

@baldilocks @Kathlena As much as I dislike having to say it, through my entire life I have seen far more failures in female 'leaders' than I have seen successes. The ratio is too depressing to even try to calculate. It's as depressing as the ratio of conservative vs liberal leaders failure and success. Liberals always drive toward failure, emotion over facts is always a fail. Patterns can't be denied, but they CAN be broken.

@Watcher9 One question I have about this in our modern society, is do women get the same level of support and cooperation? If other women are competing or sabotaging? Ivanka for instance has done tremendous work leading several important initiatives simultaneously but I have to search for information about it. She is well supported by her internal circle but if left to liberal mentality, her successes would be dismantled and forgotten. @baldilocks @Kathlena

@Ama @Watcher9 @baldilocks @Kathlena - could be more the result from the general bias against the Trump family than a specific thing against all women.

@Lonestar What makes me think of her is I find the results of her ideas to be remarkable in the importance for all citizens and lack of recognition for her skills. When I thought about jobs I had that I was really good at, it was women who stopped the progress so it made me wonder if women experience that more in general because of insecurity. @Watcher9 @baldilocks @Kathlena

@Ama @baldilocks @Kathlena What I've seen in the corporate environment is that many women were given a leg up artificially, basically an affirmative action sort of deal because of all the talk of "the glass ceiling".I know one in particular that made it to vice president, and she couldn't engineer her way out of a box let alone lead a whole section of a major company. They did nobody any favors with that crap, but people are weak and succumb to political pressure in a corporate setting.

@Ama @Lonestar @baldilocks @Kathlena In Ivanka's case I'm sure it's Trump hatred that's bringing the condemnation from the left. From the right it's the view that hers is a case of success through nepotism, not any credit for any skills or intellect she has. Hard to know until she separates herself from her father's success.

@Watcher9 @Ama @Lonestar @baldilocksSadly, those on the right that I've seen complain about Ivanka were Jew haters. People who think he gave her anything don't understand Trump. He fired her once! Even his own kids have to earn their positions.

@Kathlena All you have to do is actually look at her track record but no one does and that's why I chose her as the example. She wasn't raised by Trump and he even says that it was all Ivana who was notoriously a tough woman to work for. I'm sure she expected even more from her kids. @Watcher9 @Lonestar @baldilocks

@Ama @Kathlena @Lonestar @baldilocks Having a dad like DJT would be a blessing as well as a curse. You can't control how others think of you. DJT is an example in himself. He got ONE loan from his father and paid it back. He's made his own fortune, but still you see people making up stories, probably to make themselves feel better that they failed and he succeeded.

@Watcher9 @Ama @Kathlena @Lonestar @baldilocks I have always considered Ivanka Trump to be a savy, successful business woman separate and away from her parents.

@desertrat PITF is one agency we never read about. Every advisor on her council is a human trafficking survivor. "Ivanka Trump has worked tirelessly with stakeholders, including survivors, members of Congress, and the president’s Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (PITF). The task force draws from the efforts of 15 departments and agencies to prosecute traffickers."https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/op-eds/ivanka-trumps-mission-to-stop-human-trafficking@Watcher9 @Kathlena @Lonestar @baldilocks
