       This whole hackers.town drama is ridiculous. FBI and Infragard are two completely different things, I imagine that if you work in infosec (in the US) you end up dealing with them.Gentle reminder:- if the FBI wants to keep tabs on the fediverse, they won't do it from an instance called hackers.town- consider everything you post on activitypub as public. No exceptions.- pointing fingers, making drama and splitting the fediverse is the dumbest shit ever. Seriously.- don't worry about the people that come out clean about their collaborations. Worry about the people that don't.Want to defederate from hackers.town? Go ahead. You'll miss a lot of good people. I won't.

       @nutomicYou already have cops and snitches in your community. Undercover. They won't out semselves. Worry about them, not somebody who's clear about participating in Infragard.My position: collaborating with any kind of police is shit, but it's more or less inevitable in some line of works.Working in infosec or sysadmin, for example.

Every time somebody has been kicked by a specific group because he wasn't pure or woke enough. So basically, all the time.
