       @kaniini mastodon wouldn’t  censure my gf for posting fuck TERFs. So that’s a plus in my book. This actually happened to her on Twitter. She appealed and won but it was an abuse of power. It makes all the difference in the world whether the content moderators are on the side of bigots or not.

       @kaniini If someone on a self-hosted instance with no followers posts some fascist nonsense, does it make a sound?Putting it that way, I am pretty sure what people making that criticism actually mean is "we must centralize all communication so it can be censored".
