@IsaacWestcott @jack what do you mean by normalizing trans-sex?also let me elaborate on what I meant by protection in healthcare:1. some insurance providers would choose to refuse service to trans people as they will treat it as a pre-existing condition (this isn't a trans specific issue)2. I think HRT should at least be covered by insurance, especially considering that it's honestly pretty cheap, i can pay for it out of pocket (but i wish i didn't have to) -- it would be nice if surgeries were covered but that's probably a better discussion to be had with someone that actually *wants* surgery
