Why doesnt @gdroid replace @fdroidorg as the official f-droid client? It is clearly more advanced and user-friendly, though it lacks some features #fdroid #opensource #freesoftware #gdroid

It's not that easy.Official client is focused to development to minimal.F-droid core developers & contributors have other tasks related to apps being placed on it's repository.I've used complain a lot about #Fdroid client over the years as it's UI/UX is not that fine.Learning more about Fdroid, I accept, current client does the job what it meant for.I've Gdroid and use it. It crashes some times.@thoughtcrime @fdroidorg @gdroid

And I found myself going back to Fdroid client over Gdroid.Because, Fdroid client is simple, easy to navigate.Finding an app, updating respository and others seem way better than Gdroid.May be, it could be I've used Fdroid client. All I am stating a fact, I keep going back the official client.@thoughtcrime @fdroidorg @gdroid
