       @cmdr_amarao I've prolonged the life on mine quite a bit by using almost exclusively Linux on it for more than 2.5 years.

       @cmdr_amarao mine came with windows and I bought it specifically for university for a great price and then added an ssd to it to breathe more life in it.Honestly in the past 3 years I only used the windows partition to play some games but now I can play almost all my games on linux so I don't really have any reason to go to that partition
