       @paul it’s frustrating they won’t even lend their weight to the Lib Dems. They don’t seem to have any ambitions beyond staying in politics, despite their occasional lip service to a second referendum.

       @cbowdon yeah, they're total careerists. They won't join the Lib Dems because they'd be too low ranking. Plus I think a lot of the point of the new party is to loudly criticise Labour and they'd be told to shut up in the Lib Dems
