@9M252YDA I like it when it has some political message like calle 13 and manu chao. Doesn't have to be. In this case though, It would be quite helpful if the language is somewhat understandable.Open to new stuff :)

@webmind i'm into punk and ska, so these are... angrier sounds, i guess, but they'll definitely help with slang and such: día sexto, ska-p, boikot, la polla records, los chikos del maízon the more melodic but still political side you've got la otra, a flor de piel, mafalda, ordesa... if you want any more recs, hit me up! (:

@webmind I like La Yegros and Ana Tijoux. 🙂 They're from Argentina and Chile though, so there are probably a few dialect differences.

@veer66 No the language. I know there are different dialects, but I don't mind mixing those.

@webmind when I learned spanish, I've found many punk and heavy metal groups and was surprised. :) if you want something more light, there are, for example, Amaral or Mekano. if you prefer some kind of folk, I may recommend Eliades Ochoa (with Cuarteto Patria or Buena Vista Social Club). idk, if it's worth to mention “Heroes del silencio”, “Tierra santa”, “Mago de Oz”, “Extremoduro”, “Celtas Cortos”, “Rata blanca”, “Sociedad alcoholica” etc, but just in case… :)

@webmindLook up "Rock en Español", it's an established genre that was IMHO the best of the 80s in Spanish. Also boleros, trios, balada pop, and songs written by José Alfredo Jiménez. 👌😙
