       @wave older Thinkpads? Depends on your needs. I know a lot of people who need at least 16Gs of ram and a faster CPU these days. Plus, the screens on older Thinkpads are crap.

       @newt @wave yeah, they're an incredible value, but if they can't be used it drops to zero straight away.I've got a quad core T440p myself, that thing is more powerful than most modern laptop CPUs but the battery life is pretty horrible
