@clacke @djsundog This is fantastic. The Voyager theme was so good. The Deep Space 9 one was, too, but they rearranged it after the second or third season to be terrible.

@benhamill I remember noticing that it didn't change a whole lot, but became a bit more militaristic in S02. I didn't notice the dun-dun-dun-dun backing in S01. But I don't think it was terrible, it just reflected that the series assumed its slightly grittier pose after the S01's introductory honeymoon.

@clackeNice rendition! Reminds me of listening to the #STFirstContact soundtrack for hours on end, while I was in highschool. (yes, I was a geeky kid back then too)

I agree on VOY, it was both great and bad at the same time. But I had trouble watching ENT because of the theme, that was a major faux pas of that series. This work is a great rribute to the greatness of the themes that ENT dismissed, and thus a good point on how bad a decission it was to go away from that theme.

@leth I liked the ENT theme and had trouble watching it because of the stories.The less the time travel, the better the Star Trek.

ENT was horrible in many ways, but for me the theme was worst. Maybe I was too attached to the old theme(s).

@clacke The rearrangement I disliked was that they replaced the strings and horns on melody with a super cheese guitar and added a super weak drum kit part. It felt very, like, mall epic, if that makes sense.
