@noorul @snder Agreed. Yunohost is an awesome project, can save much time for systems admins to host services and to test software. #yunohost

@snder @noorul After installing Yunohost you basically have an email server and XMPP server ready to use, with SSO login web interface. Then after that you can add for example Nextcloud from the official Yunohost apps.

@snder @noorul Not sure what you mean with pre-installed images ? Are you thinking of Docker images ? Here's the admin doc overview : https://yunohost.org/#/admindoc

@noorul @albert I see ;) Kinda like the images DigitalOcean uses I guess? I get that it’s habdy and comfortable but at the end of the day I like to do things manually. That way I learn how it works and if there’s anything broken I know where to look for! And on the other hand I just like fucking with servers haha

Dude,I always learn from messing up on actual server.HahaA style of mine.Yunohost is great tool for many semi pro or amateurs. And u can have in a go and care free for maintaince,I mainly use YunoHost for mailserver.Because mail server is complex system. Even pros don't run it.I want have my own mail server. So I am using it'Since YunoHost is sweet enough comes with many perks, why not use it.@snder @albert

@albert @noorul Hmm thanks! I got it wrong ;) Maybe it’s more like the apps you can install with the DirectAdmin panel (one-click installs) It sure does look interesting and I’m going to have deeper look

@snder @noorul Yes, it is more or less 1 click installs indeed for the official Yunohost apps. For the unofficial apps I had to use the yunohost command via ssh. Also nice about Yunohost is the integrated Let's Encrypt SSL certificates that you can let create and renew.
