       @dada It's way more interesting than just that few languages you mentionned, as most countries in the world. That said, people rarely speaks more than two or three languages... @noplanman @cj

       @fence 😅 @noplanman speaks english, german and some (good!) french. As it the first CH people I met, it though you guys were crazy about languages. I guess I'm wrong ^^@im @cj

       @dada well it really depends... the common Joe just sticks to what he grew up with (border area's might mean they speak 2 languages well) and maybe knows some stuff from school but never really used it and therefor forgot most of it.it really depends on where you look and how old your sample size is, generally younger people will also know English.And at the end of the day everyone is different.@noplanman @im @cj

       @dada I'm more the exception than the rule!Just super fortunate to have grown up bilingual in English and Swiss-German. French came mostly from travelling and Spanish now that I live in Spain.Most Swiss people have awful English though 😁 @fence @im @cj
