       if you rated Breath of the Wild as a 9/10 or a 10/10 but said the soundtrack was meh you actually loved the soundtrack and didn't even know ityou don't enjoy a game that much if the soundtrack is poor, it's not overdramatic to say it's one of the largest contributors to the enjoyment of a game, especially one like Breath of the Wild

       @unascribed exactly, the soundtrack is perfect for the game and makes the experience dozens of times better than a more overbearing soundtrack would've been, because it's not an overbearing adventureYou're not pressed for time, trying to save the world, the world's not even *really* in danger -- surviving humans are sparse and far apart, but they've adapted over time and can handle the new world, even though they're not thrivingThe world's already in shambles, it's not a heroic adventure at all, you've already failed that

       @pea the converse happened with destiny to me where i didnt even really like the game that much but the soundtrack kept me playing because it made me feel like a freakin badass all the damn time rofl

       @pea @unascribed dunno if you were already at the castle (i won't spoiler anything) the soundtrack there is omfffgfggffg good <3I like the whole soundtrack of the game, yes its not sooo present as in other zelda titels, but its really great and has some nice gimmicks. Like if you ride long on a horse a very decent violin plays the main theme very slow etc..it is a matching soundtrack for a game, that's his whole purpose is to show of the beautiful silent wildlife
