       @photophoregirl blizzard absolutely sucks about this.they pat themselves on the back so much, but it's all just white straight male ideas of "diversity"i'm a little pissed about how they kept talking pre-release about how they were going to write strong women who weren't just eye candy. zarya's like, THE exception (and i'm in love with her, so..!) to all of them being exactly what they claim not to be

       @zoey the shimada's writing comes to mind as the worst example a screaming hot hilarious mess of every imaginable stereotypethis could maybe be remedied if they were like, revealed to be eccentric weirdos who are very different from the other Future Yakuza clans, but idk

       @zoey someone i followed on tumblr said overwatch would work best if viewed as like, some sort of Future Pro Wrestling shit, but with guns, which explains why the writing is paper-thin and cheesy and and people are constantly coming back from the dead
