Imagine if "DJ" was a title like "Dr." that you put on official forms and stuff. What a crazy world that would be, huh?

@Christian I'm also replacing MD with M.C. while we're at it.

@Christian I've always used it as an honorific for our esteemed @djsundog: It's not *really* part of his name (see "Uncle Sundog", "ah, Sundog"), but it's part of how you'd introduce him.

@Christian @djsundog i love how it barely applies - like really how many DJs out there use discs of a kind still?also i think ‘jockey’ could be used as a modifier for other actions too. here are just a few (that also rhyme):daytraders = stock jockeysofficial timekeepers = clock jockeyslongshoremen = dock jockeyspainters = smock jockeyslocksmiths = lock jockeys

@brook @djsundogModern DJs have shifted from discs to disks. The difference now is the disk doesn't spin, and scratching you SSD doesn't make cool sounds.

@Christian @djsundog well maybe not _literally_ scratching your ssd, but glitching is a little like scratching (but on data), and it *does* make some pretty cool sounds
