the one major thing I hate about being vegan is that I feel like an enormous nuisance. anywhere that doesn't have a specifically listed vegan menu I'm literally being an obstacle and I hate it, especially with independent restaurants

just gonna cook something for myselfapparently now my dad feels bad because he's only ordering for himself, but the only alternative would be to ring the place and go over their fucking menu because they don't list any ingredients or preparation methods

@addamschloe this would be why my veganism lasted five months.Christmas dinner was awful. It consisted of boiled vegetables without gravy and oven-cooked nut cutlets that sucked the spit out of my mouth because I was visiting family and had limited access to the cooker.I would go back to vegetarianism though, mostly because the world supports it better & I wouldn't spend half my life looking at ingredients lists!

@bobstechsite I don't mind taking the time when it's just myself, I just feel like a right tool around anybody else who isn't also vegan
