I was just about to go to bed...and I got a notification that my application for a SCUBA certification grant I applied for was complete and all my recommenders has submitted letters. The app closes tmrw.I just read the letter from my lead from the expedition & now I'm sitting here crying knowing that someone of her caliber & experience really understands where I'm coming from for my career as an educator....holding onto these feelings for when I feel like a talentless dick again

Like, her letter describes me exactly how I hope my mentors, bosses, etc see me and....for my dissociative ass that is weird as hell and also SO validating...

I keep rereading her letter and getting teary eyed everytime. I feel so unsure about myself all the time like am I Too Much? Is my excitement annoying? I'm always just convinced people who regularly interact with me in person think I'm weird in a bad way so this feels v good.
