@tim Capitalism is a solution to a specific set of problems. Other, traditionally opposed systems such as communism are different solutions to different (partially overlapping) sets of problems. In some cases either works, in some cases neither works. Sometimes they are in conflict, sometimes they are not.

@tim I'm pretty sure that is a very popular opinion. I guess it depends on your filter bubble.my guess is that it would survey over 85% in the u.s.

@kekcoin Capitalism has existed since we lived in tribes, so I see it more as a result of trading between people. "Crony capitalism" however, is only possible once other ideologies are mixed in. For example, China calls itself communist, but it's probably the most capitalistic country in the world nowadays, whereas we call ourselves capitalists while we have all these government-regulations that lead to state-interventionism in the market. IOW, nothing's really black & white.
