@Shufei Crystal Radio Canada -- Beautiful #easylistening #music. Sit back and relax, journey to a quieter time. #Vintage #radio at its best. Whether it is the appropriate music for a cocktail party, the dinner hour, or just relaxation and reflection -- you will find it when you want it on Crystal Radio. https://tunein.com/radio/Crystal-Radio-s124050/

@cosullivan @Shufei I remember building a crystal radio set. Only got one station, but it was cool.

@cosullivan @Shufei Ah, that's good stuff. Similar to BossBossRadio, to which I habitually listen.

@cosullivan @Shufei No, never mind. BossBossRadio is much more rock-ish. I was fooled by the first song I heard on Crystal. Love it, though. Reminds me of visiting an old lady in Mexico named Vi. She listened to this stuff, and we liked visiting her, back when I was like 7 years old.

@xmanmonk @cosullivan @Shufei I wonder what kind of music her estranged sister Emacs enjoyed?

@xmanmonk @solderpunk @Shufei I know a woman whose daughter has vi(olet) and emacs for middle names.

@cosullivan A lovely station, and one in which well worth basking. However I tend to prefer (ersatz) WKTZ Jones College Radio. It features a library chockablock with sometimes obscure works collected over decades of independent on-air operation. Until recently they still broadcast from reel to reel.http://ice5.securenetsystems.net/WKTZhttp://jcr.jones.eduSeeburg1000 is also choice. Pure space age midcentury Muzak-style instrumental offerings; the anti-now.http://seeburg1000.com
