@karen i'm too lazy to grab my legit disks unless i'm actually doing a speedrun so i just have them all on my SD card to run from Nintendont

@karen if i'm gonna run it from nintendont anyway i might as well, and i'm gonna run it from nintendont because why would you unironically not do that unless you're speedrunning0 framiness 👌👌

@karen my favorite part of the sunshine any% speedrun is the part that everyone fucks up if they don't practice it in Gamecube Mode (without practice codes, mind you, because those need nintendont) instead of through nintendont right at the very end because it lags in Gamecube Mode but doesn't on nintendont and you jump right into the lava if you're used to no lag timings

@pea i mean yeah, there's no pragmatic reason for running games off of original discs BUT IT JUST FEELS RIGHT

@karen so if you're not used to the actual laggy timings you will consistently dive straight into the lava in Corona Mountain

@pea yeah i think pause buffering is a little bit different on the OoT practice rom and in the actual game and it messes up people too
