       @thomas Holy Moly. Are you needing that much power to run Mastodon? Or do you have that Server free and you want to have more than enough power to run it?

       @ein_marco it's more a "I do because I can". 😉 metalhead.club runs fine with 4 Cores and 4 Gigs of RAM atm.Also the new host is not only meant to be used for Mastodon, but for some more projects.

       @Hughenknubbel Die Maschine hat 2 Prozessoren mit je 8 Cores = 16 Cores = 32 Threads. (Also hier mit HT). CPUs sind  Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2640 v2https://ark.intel.com/de/products/75267/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E5-2640-v2-20M-Cache-2-00-GHz-Also schon älteres Semester (Q3 2013). Aber durch die vielen Kerne kann man trotzdem respektabel Leistung rausholen :) Dazu dann halt noch 64 GB RAM und 1 TB SSD im (HW-)RAID 1

       @thomas 64 GB Ram? im Screenshot sehe ich nur 32GB? hatte mich schon gewundert  das es so wenig ist^^ Demzufolge ist es ja auch "nur" DDR3? aber 16 Cores sind ja trotzdem geil :D

       @Hughenknubbel Genau, es ist DDR3. Im Screenshot siehst du nur 32, weil das eine VM ist. Der Host hat 64 :)
