       people had high hopes for these eu data protection laws but the thing is the worst data pilferers are big and rich and laws are basically not enforced on the big and rich

       dunno about the rest of the world but here everything about government, the media, the education system etc exists to protect elites and minimise social mobility

       Britain has never had a prime minister who went to a normal school (i.e. without fees and without entrance exams) and most prime ministers surround themselves in government by people they went to school with and never actually meet a normal person

       [But Nico exams don't keep the poor out per se, anyone can study for an exam] yeah except you need to hire someone to teach your kid how they want the questions answered, to buy copies of the old papers etc...school entrance exams exist primarily to keep the poor out
