I loved my new pen so much I bought a 4 pack of a similar model from the same company. I also ordered some sepcialty Inka to try in them all, as well as the more expensive American brand that the Chinese pen was ripping off.The purple ink I just tried is Iroshizuku ink, it is one of the most popular high end inks. I can see why, it days very fast. The color could be a bit richer though. Looking forward to trying my other inks a bit more cause the other ones are a bit less well known but with a long history. Oxblood will be fun to try.

@msmouse They are wings, a cheap (but good) chinese brand. I ordered the brand it is a rip-off of but it hasnt arrived yet. But this is one of the few cases where the rip off is as good as the original I suspect.

@pkok I'm not sure, when someone sells you a vial labeled "blood" its usually best to ask as few questions as possible :)

@freemo I got an ink sample pack from Goulet Pens and honestly maybe 2 of the 10 are usable in my Karas Kustoms Ink / Bock Fine nib. My Pilot Metro is way more forgiving with his it lays down ink for some reason, but most of them still feather say more than I consider acceptable - this is in Rhodia paper even. Annoying, and the Ink was nearly 10 times the price of a Metro 🙄So yeah, I tend to fall back to the Iroshizuku ink.

@rtwx I'm still learning some of the nuance, but seems the ink plays as much a role as the pen. These are all the same model of pen, different inks. The plain black from cross was the worst in terms of how well it wrote, all of them feathered a bit, but the iroshizuku was pretty nice, though i found the color to be a bit too light (not the inks fault, im sure its meant to be that color.I can say this, the Diamine OX Blood ink in the good pen writes better than the Iroshizuku ink does in the knock-off pen. So in this case at least it seems the pen was working against me more than the ink.
