       I saw a great quote the other day that basically summed up what's going on, nicely, in the US. It ridiculed the idea that we are a "nation divided," and I agree. We are not. There is a small vocal minority of fascist leaning people in power, and the rest of us, and the fact that the corporate media isn't pointing this out will lead us to ruin.

       @Ricardus The younger generations don't fall for the Democrat/Republican propaganda as easily, because we understand it's all bullshit. The 40% or so of Americans who voted for Trump and Hillary are still in the dark ages."America" was "founded" by brute force. Murder. Rape. Burning homes. That's our start. Nothing has changed except hiding our shame in more elaborate ways and pretending we're the good guys.Things will only improve when we remove our wicked overlords.

       @Ricardus On an optimistic though, you're right, we're not as divided as portrait that the media shovels down our throats during programming. Most people are pretty chill with each other, at least in my circles. From the rebel flag waving rednecks to the protesting liberals, we all get along. At least in Florida we do.
