@spookcentral Criminal, the Memory Palace, and Reply All, and also Who? Weekly, which probably brings me the most uncomplicated joy of anything I listen to. In the Dark has two seasons of incredible investigative journalism, and Reveal is good for that too. I'm Horrified and the Worst Bestsellers are probably my favorite amateur shows. I listen to A Lot of Podcasts

@spookcentral If it's a fiction podcast you're wanting and you're cool with it being deeply unsettling but with seasons generally ending on an up note, I cannot recommend Within the Wires highly enough. It's a "found footage" sort of thing, and it's set in a dystopian hellscape alternate timeline but it's at least a dystopian hellscape where the gay is nbd.

@spookcentral unironically Dax Shepard's podcast had a few good episodes (Zach Braff comes to mind, Seth Green is another)Overdue is also a great podcast about books. And Behind the Bastards is a general "about assholes" podcast. I can try and find some more if you'd like.
