This is what happened to me. When I was pubescent I was on very high doses of adderall. I was very thin then. Still, I had high (for my age) blood pressure because of genetic factors, so I figured I'd take myself off meds. I immediately became constantly hungry and quickly gained 100 pounds. I went from being full after a couple spoonfuls of soup to being voraciously, constantly hungry.(Please don't give advice in the comments btw. I've heard it all.)

I wish I had either never been on or never took myself off ADD meds. The medical industry doesn't want to correct their damage because now I want back on "for the wrong reasons", and I'm the one blamed for it and paying the consequences.

@cwebber I feel like the medical system is nearly this capricious with drugs designed to treat any mental condition, surely there's some improvement to be made :\
