Ok so if you're like me, you may hate the tar program. It requires you to memorise flags which is hella annoying and requires you to be online if you forget. I feel like people like it more because it hasn't changed since 60s than is actually user friendly....So is there a program that "just works"?I want to run `unpack source destination` or whatever and it just does the rest for me like the GUI apps do.#Sysadmin #Linux

@kawaiipunk i think there's several unarchivers that just work normally without incantations i don't remember their names tho I think GNU might have one

@kawaiipunk oh maybe that;s not it.... (gnu) tar has a bunch of different commands actually I think you can use common gnu stuff now like `--extract`
