Reminds me of when I was a teen and I would wake up late, or miss the bus through whatever means, my father would attempt to drive me to school.He's easily distracted, so we'd end up in some deep discussion of one thing or another, and we'd be over half way through his 1 hr commute before he realized it. So I got to visit his work a handful of times. 😁 #smallstories

One of the interesting things I noticed about getting up and leaving the house early before my SO was awake, and driving so long, that I didn't actually speak out loud for almost three hours.

@viciousviscosity When I was late like that, my dad would drive me to breakfast first and then walk into school with me. "Dentist appointment." He'd mutter at the desk lady while I'm sipping an orange juice in the background.
