Fedi, help me out here. I'm a trans woman making synthpop for an audience of maybe ten people. Anyone know of any cool trans or lgbtq-focused netlabels or promotion/distribution groups that should be on my radar?(boost please!)

@backwardsflow Is trans music really any different than .. music? I feel like when you go down this path, you get into Christian rock.

@moonman @backwardsflow In my youth, my town had The Sheppard's guide listing Christian owned businesses. Even as a Christian, I asked why this is necessary. Shouldn't Christians support everyone to be a light onto the world? My sister told me, "Why if you need someone who shares your values, like a lawyer." Years later Nice Cars opens up, a car dealership with the Jesus fish in their logo. In line for emissions testing, car in front as a sign, "Nice cars cut my check engine light wire." ✝️

@djsumdog There's a theory that a Christian business isn't going to screw over another Christian. It might even work sometimes, but obviously not always.I also understand that affinity fraud is high in Mormon communities because there is so much trust between Mormons. I can attest to that, Mormons are some of the most trustworthy and upright in their dealings people I have ever met. But if you can fake being Mormon or just be a shitty one, you can fleece them.

@moonman There's that old adage, if you're getting started selling insurance, the first thing you should do is join a church. 😅
