Digging write.as. I love the light weight/distraction free markdown editor and it has some very unique features. I especially love that I don’t have to shut off commenting. It’s just not a thing. I hate commenters. Get lost with your comments.

@jonw Do you mean that the requirement to be on fedi to comment provides a threshold that makes the comments a bit better than those by some drive-by rando on the web?

@clacke No, I just mean I can mute you or block you, and also mute threads on fedi.Mostly, I was making a joke about the fact that blog comments are pretty much the lowest form of internet communication in existence. Followed closely by social media comments. But, in general, social media sites, such as those running Mastodon, have fairly good/granular account/commenting controls so it's easier to control.
