       @lunch yaaas this is so true. IIRC his biggest departure from other socialists was when he supported Italy joining in WWI; something the internationalists were all against but scumbag nationalist Benito thought it was Italy's chance to gain some power. You recommend this book?

       @squirrelturtle @lunch if you wish to check it out you may do so here https://cartiparenti.files.wordpress.com/2016/08/blackshirts-and-reds-by-michael-parenti.pdf, a very good little summation of origins of fascism throughout europe, goes over some of the failings but also accomplishments of eastern bloc countries and the reprecussions of capitalisms arrival - from 1996 however so stuff on the latter is pretty incomplete
