       anyone else wince when they hear "best practice"? It seems to be tantamount to a declaration that there will be no opportunity to find a *better* practice

       @telent Depends on what connotations seem to be attached.If it sounds like they mean "the best approach we've collectively found so far," I'm fine with it.But if it's pronounced with anything resembling reverence, that's when I start worrying that they'll expect it to be followed blindly and uncritically.
