@izaya Writing my first CGI script was magical. Totally changed the web for me. I was so clueless I wrote it in C++.

@jonw I used to use it a lot for my blog but I've since replaced it with a static generator.All of a sudden I need to write something with a web interface so I broke out LuaWant the POST data? Read stdin! The request type? It's an environment variable!Excellent. I love it.

@izaya We use LUA a lot at work but not me, specifically. But I see how flexible and powerful it is. I’m looking for excises to learn it.

@jonw if you're into Minecraft there's an excellent mod for it that adds Lua-programmable computers called OpenComputers which I am quite fond of
