Hey so I'm going to make this post now that Gargron won't reply to it with some horseshitHas anyone added or started the process of adding the ability to see another instance's local timeline without leaving your own?In particular I want to replace my local timeline with one that can target other instances, seeing as this one is single user,,

By some horseshit I mean the last time I asked this question he directed me to profile directories as if that's not the dumbest shit

@_ yeah i started working on one but got distracted with workmy plan was to actually just add another column to the frontent, and the management ui would be similar to lists in that you'd hit make a new list and enter the instance name, then it would make a new column with the remote timeline

@_ I don't know about the web UI but the Android client Mastalab can "subscribe" to other instances and display that feed.

@_ could you do it with a bot on the one who's timeline you wanted to replicate locally?

@Skryking Probably but.. making a bot on every instance I want to check out kind of ruins the point of doing this, making an account on every instance is what I'm trying to avoid

@_ The server-side API is there (same that mastoview uses). The only client I know to be able to use that is SubwayTooter though ("open timeline with emulated account").
