       does anyone know if it's possible to modify an old CRT to produce less flyback transformer noise? (that's the high pitched noise CRTs would make)

       @shoofle a former coworker has been an electronics engineer for a few decades, and deals with coil whine of all types by slathering the guilty component in supergluei dont know if it will work for something as sizeable as a flyback transformer but you can sure tryjust be safe and make sure the thing is discharged before you go touching anything
