       weird that like, in 2016, i thought "Hmm, wouldn't it be cool to have a duospaced font, like a thin monospaced font but the wider letters occupy two units of space" but i could only find a tiny amount of stuff online about that idea, so i actually made a git repository and started working on a font, then got bored of it, and then in 2017 multiple people created & publicized their own duospaced fonts, a wikipedia article was created all about them, listing old examples i'd never heard of etc etc.

       @sydneyfalk ive been thinkin about it and like, it takes AGES to make a font, theyd probably been making their own versions for a while, so i was probably late to the game if anything

       @jk now I'm imagining people working on fonts since like DOS era times"you kids have it easy, I had to kern uphill both ways before I could pica the underhangs"(note: I know nothing about fonts)
