@nosleep @tuxcrafting Not too worried about DDoS. I have that set to "Essentally Off". What I do use them for is their free CDN which cuts bandwidth usage about in half. Also, they have bigger pockets for peering agreements so ISPs that have a "fast lane" load the site at full speed over CF but not always if it's a bare server (saw a friend's phone load the site at 3~4 Mb/s off CF but 60~80 Mb/s on CF). Since I have media proxy enabled all images go through CF and are cached in CF data centeres speeding them up too.Now, all that being said CF is kind of notorious for refusing to give any customer info (that's kind of part of the product they sell after all) so it makes it nearly impossible for someone to bitch to my hosting provider. And after what happened to Feminism.LGBT I don't want to take any chances.Additionally, they've pretty much said they fucked up kicking off the daily stormer and said that they regretted it. That was about as woke as they got and they've been based and privacy and security focused ever sense.On the topic of privacy they're also doing a lot with Tor to increase Tor user's privacy:https://blog.cloudflare.com/welcome-hidden-resolver/https://blog.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-onion-service/TL;DR: I don't see much of a problem with CF right now. If things change I'll likely stop using them but right now they seem to be the only tech company in California that hasn't started autistic screeching. @sjw @nosleep i guess. i use CF but only for the DNS service, otherwise the IP is directand i'm a bit known for having an extremely thick tinfoil hat. i almost got banned from 2 discord servers because of this lol
