       @matt if you can stand using and having to config a TUI/CLI client i'd recommend weechat(or irssi).It is some effort to config but once you have done it you can easily transfer it between computers.

       @matt Weechat if you're a console jockey like me but still like to be able to slap a web relay on because sometimes (read: almost always) pulling up a web page is easier than trying to keep an SSH connection open for more than a couple of minutes on some networks...I also hear good things about Quassel.
