tl;dr of this lengthy monologue from @mona about our #chemistry project idea involving bespoke nanoparticles for chemical analysis: https://cybre.space/@mona/101492188895886856basically we're seriously thinking of tabling the nanoparticle idea altogether and instead switching to work with conducting polymer films designed as selective _electrochemical_ sensors. also we just generally want to start gaining experience with conducting polymers in general because they're damn useful.

@nautilee @kara thank you *tailswish* we are trying to decide how to start organizing ourselves to carry this out. Kara's thought of perhaps setting up a Patreon account but we both have misgivings about Patreon. that would give us a central location to report on progress, and _maybe_ some money...it would be nice to get some pocket change to help us with supplies *whuffles*there is, I daresay, a real public need that can be served here, if we achieve any sort of success.
