Looking back and forth at some recent discussion, I'm getting thoroughly convinced that punting _hard_ on #ActivityPub might actually be good for my health.

@jalcine for people who can get into it, the IndieWeb is a much better platform for social interaction. And your work enabling people to join the IndieWeb is hugely more important than ActivityPub.

And this isn't even me promoting my project. For all I know, I might just end up making a version of Wordpress in Elixir that can interact with a few dozen other sites on the Internet.Eh.

@jalcine I think I agree with you, and I'm not just saying that because the drama is hard to avoid right now. I think #IndieWeb might actually scale better than #ActivityPub over the long term.

@jalcine Or maybe they end up playing together, like #ActivityPub replaces #MicroPub or something, but that brings it back to your point about waiting.

@djmoch I don't know if #ActivityPub could do that (or visa versa since #Micropub is more generic than ActivityPub).Micropub's also more focused about client to server interactions whereas ActivityPub's that and a whole breadth of other things.
