@levi I think I was asking you if you were born/raised a fundie or converted.

@levi Just checking. So you went in fairly out-of-the-blue. Existential crisis, or did someone convince you?

@levi I suppose that explains how a fundamentalist christian ends up in the weird corners of the Internet. Not personally familiar, but I've heard the name before. Would you say you're of the same stripe?

@levi So you're inner-circle. What made you bring the anti-homo jihad to fedi?

@levi Seems like a logical conclusion. I'm always interested in people who seem to more about the dark side of the internet, mostly because I don't have the stomach for it. I assume that's what that YT link is, but this client doesn't want to open it.

@levi I assume your motivation is largely similar though. A kind of visceral reaction against the demented stuff that's increasingly the status qout in more areas of society. Would that be accurate?

@levi Can't say I'm personally engaged in any crusade myself, but I would be interested in what you might know, outside the stuff usually passed around in wignat circles. And FTR I think there is something to be said for counter-culture elements, no matter how strident.

@levi I think you can make a more convincing case if you show people exactly what you're opposed to. If you put the most insular and depraved parts of a trend on display, it tends to create a stigma. We saw this semi-recently with the furfag thing.

@levi Like I said, I'm not on the wagon. I just have an amount for respect for people who are willing to look in the dark corners and take that cynical perspective. You have to admit the "get AIDS and die horribly" thing seems almost blasé by internet standards.

@levi Not to be too meta but that's quite a tone shift. How long have you been on this, forgive the term, internet kick?

@levi Can't disagree. Thanks for your insight, and good luck with all this mess.

@levi Yeah I have that greentext somewhere too. Great stuff, when you can find it.
