       Ok, switched temporally from  #cwm to #fluxbox. I keep the same keybindings, so I find near no differences except the toolbar. I didn't try the slit, as most dockapps now are too small.

       @anthk my kinda aesthetically  bloated (yet acceptably lightweight and definitely effective)  go-to in late high-school days was fluxbox + fbdesk/wbar+ pypanel on OpenSolaris or FreeBSD, using gorgeous @vermaden's Java/Nimbus -like fluxbox theme https://www.box-look.org/p/1017098/
