@kurisu running a i7 devil's canyon w/ 4.0ghz base and an SSD.. bandwidth is pretty okay. Maybe I need to change my Mastodon service settings and give it more resources..

@_ I think it's more likely to be the outbound bandwidth, residential network connections are really bad for this unfortunately. I'd suggest your options are CDN or VPS or host videos elsewhere or make the videos really small.
