So, I'm having issues with sound levels around campus. I found a sound meter app for my phone, but it need sto be calibrated. How on earth does one calibrate a sound meter?

@rickscully Right, but I need another calibrated device to do that. I was hoping there was a first principles way to get a decent approximation. Like, I can manually calibrate a thermometer pretty easily (Ice/water 0C, boiling water 100C at sea level, liquid nitrogen 78K, dry ice/iPrOH or dry ice/Acetone -77-78C)
