The fastest way for me to not trust a website is for it to ask me to disabled adblock. Like there has never been a website that asked me to do that which didn't have a history of giving out digital gonorrhea through its poorly curated ad hosting.Even Flight Rising, a small silly pet site, has a long history of giving people malware/malicious redirects through its onsite ads and yet its always felt it acceptable to have this guilt trip on the page:

@FamiliarAlienI have seen some sites that will not let you use it at all until you disable adblock.I whitelist sites I trust. Even those that play 30 second ads before letting me continue. I trust them and want to support them

@Tyrent Yeah tbh when a site literally won't let me use it because I have adblocks I usually just... don't use the site. Like I'm willing to white list sites I trust but some rando news site with 65 ads on its page, 19 of which have malware embed in them, I can live without.
