       @fribbledom I'm kind of surprised that they're doing it as a standalone decoder rather than building it in the ffmpeg codebase, but I suppose that will help adoption with folks who only want the decoder, and don't want to deal with the LGPL code in ffmpeg.I suspect that it might also get merged into ffmpeg when it's more complete, since they like to have decoders without external library dependencies where possible.
