       really dislike how the void keyword sounds considerably less cool once you have even the least bit of familiarity with java or similar languages

       @hirnbrot @jelle_dc technically that's just the void _pointer_, void as a return value really does mean nothing, at least afaik

       @grainloom @jelle_dc It just always struck me as odd to repurpose the word for "returns nothing" to "holds everything".But then... how many meanings of "static" are there?
